There still seems to be some confusion over how to submit images you’ve made (most submissions we get are text that I make into a meme myself) so here’s a more thorough explanation than the last one I posted.
Please remember that if you just submit a meme as an image in a text post, it will only show up as a little grey photo icon if I post it immediately; to get it to show up...

When submitting picture memes
please remember to change the little drop down at the top of the submissions box from ‘submit text’ to ‘submit a picture’ or whatever the English equivalent is and upload and submit the meme that way. If you submit it as a picture in a text post, it’ll just show up as the little grey photo icon and I’ll have to go back, save and upload it myself!

My initial thoughts were that romaji (although I personally find it icky now) is more accessible to beginners of the language and people who don’t necessarily follow the blog for the language, but what do you guys think? I’ll leave it for a day or so and go with what the majority says.

Does anyone have any study tips?
Assuming everyone else is in the middle of or has recently finished their exams too, what do you find are good ways to study Japanese?
Personally, learning kanji by radicals and by learning them as whole words paired with other kanji (not just yomi on their own) is incredibly helpful for learning them in the long term. Compared to when I used to just write a kanji over and over and over, I...
